Employer Timecard Instructions
West Sound Workforce uses an online timecard system through our Portal.
How To Log Into The Employer Portal:
Log in by clicking Portal Login in the upper right corner of our website or click here.
If it’s your first time, enter your email and click Forgot Password to set up your login credentials.
Receiving Online Timecards
We process payroll weekly. To ensure timely processing:
-
Employees submit timecards by 5:00 p.m. on Sundays.
-
Supervisors must approve all timecards by 5:00 p.m. on Mondays.
-
You’ll receive an email notification when timesheets are ready for review.
It’s crucial to verify all hours before approval. Do not modify an employee’s hours without their knowledge — this is illegal.
Reviewing Timecards
You have two options for reviewing timecards, via email or the employer portal.
Option 1: Approve via Email Notification
-
Open the timecard notification email.
-
Review reported hours and any notes from the employee.
-
Click Approve or Reject directly from the email.
-
If rejecting, include notes explaining what corrections are needed.
Option 2: Approve via Employer Portal
-
Log into the Employer Portal
-
From myDashboard, click the number of timesheets waiting for approval, or select Timesheet from the top menu.
-
Click View Timesheet for the employee you want to review.
-
Review reported hours and notes.
-
Select Approve or Reject Timesheet.
-
If rejecting, provide notes explaining required corrections.
Both methods allow supervisors to quickly approve or reject timesheets while ensuring compliance and keeping employees informed.
