The Thurston County Budget and Fiscal Manager position holds overall responsibility for the development of the County’s budget and policies; develops and directs short and long-range fiscal strategy and goals; collaborates with other departments for budgetary tracking; consults with County-elected officials; coordinates with cities and other governmental entities and funding sources; and monitors County funds, just to name a few responsibilities.   

You could hold this role if you have comprehensive knowledge of government budgeting practices; understand regional economic issues; have the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop strategic plans; and hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
