We are looking for an experienced computer technician to assist with a recently implemented Mobile Computer Terminal Project!

You will work closely with a Help Desk technician to troubleshoot and resolve minor PC-related issues in mobile units, where software is wirelessly connected.

To qualify for this job, you must have:

• Knowledge of Windows XP & Vista, and Microsoft Office 2003 & 2007
• Recent applicable experience
• Good customer service skills
• The physical ability to climb in and out of vehicles (cars & fire trucks) & work in awkward, cramped positions
• Reliable transportation & proof of insurance
• WA State Driver’s License & the ability to provide a driver’s abstract

A+ CERTIFICATION IS HIGHLY PREFERRED!

We’re looking for someone who’s a quick study, because you will have to quickly familiarize yourself with proprietary software.  This job requires a true team effort, so a positive team-player is essential to the success of this project!

You’ll have to use your own car to travel to various work-sites, and all of your mileage will be reimbursed.

You have to have 1 – 2 years of MIS/Facilities Coordination experience to be considered for this position.

This job requires:

• 1 – 2 years of MIS/Facilities Coordination experience
• Very strong knowledge of networking PCs & printer peripherals
• Experience with AS400, Avaya & Microsoft Back Office products
• Experience with Windows 2003, Vista & 7
• The ability to lift & move up to 50 pounds
• Strong multitasking skills

• Managing building facility, including HVAC, office & telecom equipment
• Repairing or upgrading printers, servers & PC equipment
• Applying software patches & upgrades
• Setting up & maintaining user accounts
• Coordinating vendor/contractor visits

You will provide Help Desk support via phone, email and remote administration for:

• Computer hardware
• Software
• Printers
• Remote connectivity
• Email
• Operating systems
• Other issues as needed

You will also be responsible for:

• Proactively administering networking infrastructure performance, including servers, workstations & peripheral devices
• Monitoring system performance
• Scheduling and performing routine backups
• Performing workstation configuration and software loading
• Documenting information in CRM system
• Assisting with other projects as needed
