			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are seeking someone with a minimum of 1 &#8211; 2 years escrow or title experience to assist an escrow officer with the process of closing real estate escrow transactions.</p>
<p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>You must have at minimum 1 &#8211; 2 years escrow or title experience to  be considered for this position.  Someone with escrow experience in  particular is <em>highly</em> preferred.</strong></span></p>
<p>This job also requires proficiency with Word and Excel, as well as  software and computer proficiency in general.  You must have great  closing, customer service, communication, problem solving, decision  making and time management skills, and also the ability to handle  confidential information.</p>
<p><strong>We&#8217;re looking for someone who wants to stay in an Escrow Assistant position for a <em>minimum of 2 years</em>.  This job has potential for growth within the company, but only after you&#8217;ve worked for a 2 year period as an Escrow Assistant.</strong></p>
<h3><strong>Duties include:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Determining escrow requirements</li>
<li>Obtaining clear titles by ordering title reports, resolving title defects, satisfying existing liens &amp; encumbrances against property or principals</li>
<li>Establishing escrow accounts by depositing funds &amp; maintaining records</li>
<li>Ordering payoffs for voluntary &amp; involuntary liens</li>
<li>Following up with buyers, sellers, lenders and agents</li>
<li>Faxing or emailing Estimated HUD-1 to agents &amp; lenders</li>
<li>Establishing signing appointments</li>
<li>Copying paperwork</li>
<li>Preparing copy package for shipping to lender for final review</li>
<li>Balancing with lender for funds to be wired</li>
<li>Closing escrow accounts by disbursing funds</li>
<li>Completing transactions &amp; notifying parties of close of escrow</li>
<li>Following up with any post-closing items and preparing files for storage</li>
<li>Other tasks as assigned</li>
