February 2010 Employee of the Month

West Sound Workforce has awarded Melanie Gillard the February 2010 Employee of the Month honor!

According to her supervisor:

Melanie has been working with us as an Administrative Assistant for two months now.  She has proven to be indispensable!  Her spirit of volunteerism, and high energy and drive have quickly made her a valued member of our team.

Melanie is a fast learner, and sets high expectations for herself that translate to excellent performance, and outcomes of the tasks and goals we all ask of her.  Melanie has moved into a demanding role, reporting to two different supervisors, and she is at the beck and call of many of the other staff.

She has shown herself to be accommodating, flexible and to have good humor even through some trying situations. We are pleased to call her part of our team and appreciate her work every day.

Gillard was honored by West Sound Workforce with gifts, an award certificate and floral arrangement at her local awards celebration.
