DURATION: Approximately 6 – 8 months.
HOURS: Full time, Monday – Friday. On-call after hours & weekends as needed.
We are looking for an experienced, mechanically inclined person to perform daily and emergency maintenance on toll lanes.
You must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial environment performing basic diagnostics and repair of electronics and related hardware to qualify for this position.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing daily predictive & emergency maintenance on toll lanes
- Handling service needs
- Using technical knowledge & troubleshooting skills to optimize lane operations and availability
- Performing preventative maintenance
- Operating equipment & tools
- Working with 3rd party vendors to resolve problems or issues
- Maintaining records, logs and schedules for toll road equipment & peripherals, as well as labor materials & work orders
To qualify, you must:
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience with basic diagnostics & repair of electronics and related hardware in a commercial environment
- Know how to use a multimeter & various hand tools, such as wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers and drills
- Possess basic computer skills
- Be able to read, write & interpret documents like operating & maintenance instructions, performance manuals, safety instructions, etc.
- Have a professional demeanor & great customer service skills
- Be flexible & available to work various hours as needed
- Be available to start immediately
You must also be able to pass a criminal background check, credit check and drug screen to be considered for this opening.
Some technical college or an Associate’s Degree desired.
- Required:
- 3+ years experience in a commercial environment performing basic diagnostics & repair of electronics and related hardware. Ability to work flexible hours as needed, ability to start immediately. Ability to pass drug screen and background & credit checks. Knowledge of how to use a multimeter & various tools.
- Preferred:
- Some technical college or Associate's Degree.
