A large company is seeking a reliable and capable candidate to perform a variety of machine related duties. This position includes the tending of one or more machines, inspecting and measuring machined work-pieces, performing minor machine settings, replacing worn machine cutting tools, and other related duties. Support and service to customers will also be required, as well as the promotion of plant safety and product and service quality.
This position involves the performance of basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Required:
- At least 6 months of experience with CNC machines; ability to perform basic math functions; good vision; ability to stand for long periods of time; ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have reliable transportation--no busline available.
