Professional, personable and upbeat candidate who takes obvious joy in life and her work.

Available For:

I am interested in temp, temp-to-hire and direct hire positions.

Ideal Position:

My ideal position would be in a fast-paced, positive and professional work place, and would provide me with frequent challenges.

Past Experience:

I have a variety of experience.

I worked in the warranty department of a high-volume home builder. I took calls from unhappy homeowners, discussed their warranty and construction issues, and prepared and scheduled work orders to resolve those issues. I enjoy working with challenging personalities, and this was a great opportunity to utilize my people skills.

I also have experience in the financial planning industry. I began as a receptionist, learned the ropes, and then decided that I wanted to obtain my license so that I could better assist the executives that I supported.

I was promoted to office manager, where I oversaw numerous office functions, including bookkeeping, processing all new account paperwork and incoming checks, organizing seminars, taking calls from clients, and assisting the 17 reps who worked out of our office.

I have the ability to wear many hats and am a very motivated, hard worker.

Currently:

Currently, I hold a real estate license which has been “lightly used” due mainly to market conditions, but also to the fact that being a successful real estate agent requires a great deal of time and networking. Most of that time is required during nights and weekends, which does not allow me enough time with my family.

I believe that my honesty and integrity, coupled with my great work ethic and prompt attendance make me an asset to any company.

Great candidate with extensive marketing and admin assistant experience. Great balance between professionalism and personability!

Available For:

I would be interested in temp, temp-to-hire and direct hire positions.

Ideal Position:

The ideal position for me would be one that utilizes my skill and experience, as well as offers me learning opportunities. I enjoy a challenge, working in a team-oriented environment, require minimal supervision and take pride in producing a good work product, whether it is providing caring customer service, developing effective presentation materials or clear, appropriate communication.

Past Experience:

My working career has evolved through progressively more responsible positions, from clerical, secretarial and administrative assistant to supervisor and manager in various office/corporate settings. Primarily, I have worked in the marketing and advertising fields, though the last couple of years I have enjoyed working in a secretarial capacity for the educational system. I have also worked retail and most recently this summer worked with Habitat for Humanity.

Currently:

A willingness to energetically search out new challenges and the pride I have in both the quality of my work and my work ethics continue to propel me. My loyalty, dedication and success are demonstrated through my work experience. I have developed the ability to recognize and understand the ‘Big Picture’, while at the same time pay attention to the specifics of the products and markets of a company. This has allowed me to comfortably negotiate the challenges of dynamic work environments.

Warm, pleasant and upbeat! Professional and articulate candidate with extensive Customer Service Management experience.

Is a place where my experience and ideas are respected and appreciated

Is a safe, congenial work environment that has a positive corporate culture, including effective communication throughout all levels of the organization

Past Experience:

More than 20 years customer service experience working in manufacturing and financial services industries

Participated on numerous cross-functional teams, including ISO certification projects

Strong investigative and problem solving skills while being sensitive to customers’ concerns and requirements

Developed and successfully executed continuous improvement goals and plans

Participated on SAP implementation team, performing gap analysis, developing solutions and conducting integration testing

Currently:

My family relocated from California to Gig Harbor in 2007. I have spent the time settling in and exploring the beautiful sites that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. I am now excited to resume working. While my previous work experience has been primarily in a customer service supervisory/management positions, I now am looking for a staff position that will utilize my background and experience at a different level.

While at Henkel Corporation I had the opportunity and pleasure to personally work with and assist many of our customers on significant, serious issues. I approached each case with the desire to find a solution or option that would be acceptable to the customer. This required use of my extensive knowledge of our business, operations and individual contacts within the organization to effect solutions.

One instance in particular involved a U.S. Army sergeant desperately seeking one of our sole source products needed to repair a damaged aircraft in Iraq. We manufactured the only material that could be used for the repair—however, we had nothing in stock!

It was an AOG (aircraft on ground) situation and an immediate solution was imperative. I contacted our manufacturing group, who were unable to assist me due to lack of available raw materials. I then tried to locate material from other customers who recently purchased this material. This was also unsuccessful. I then remembered that we sometimes retained samples from previous batches for quality control purposes.

I went to our product freezers and amazingly I found a 300 SF roll of material. I immediately contacted the customer, worked with our Quality Department to obtain the required product certification, and with the Shipping Department to arrange to air express for the material, at no cost to the customer.

Our customer was ecstatic and as a thank you, he e-mailed me a number of actual combat photos, including one of the damaged planes. I was able to share the pictures with the entire plant so that they could share in the understanding of how important their work was and the impact it had with our customers. This is where knowledge and teamwork really paid off.

Sharp, capable, adaptable CPA with a love of numbers.

Available For:

I am available for Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire positions.

Ideal Position:

My ideal position is one that will utilize my accounting and bookkeeping skills while allowing both personal and professional growth. I prefer a position that includes a core set of daily responsibilities with periodic additional tasks or special projects. Most important to me is to work for a company that strives to create a corporate culture that reflects the value it places on its employees.

Past Experience:

Almost all of my work experience has been in a professional office setting. By capitalizing on my love of numbers, I was able to turn a clerical order processing position to one that included A/R cash receipt posting and collections while I was still pursuing my Bachelor’s degree.

After graduating college, I spent a couple years as a fund accountant at an investment bank. Full time for the first 21 months, I performed all daily and monthly accounting functions for a variety of mutual funds. During my last year I worked part time and concentrated on preparing some of the more challenging asset reconciliations, monthly audit packages, and daily bank reconciliations.

During a hiatus from the workplace, I accepted the Treasurer position on the board of a local organization. I was recently elected into a second two year term on the board. Most recently I worked as a fiduciary specialist for a reinsurance brokerage where my primary job responsibilities included A/R cash receipt posting, collections, and collateral management.

Currently:

I pride myself on being someone who not only loves learning, but is able to very quickly learn new processes, procedures, and software.

During my career I have repeatedly proven my ability to quickly get up to speed on new software and to grasp new concepts. I have, at various times, used this love of learning to be entrusted with special projects, earn the respect of “difficult” clients, and become an expert on specialized processes within my team. My enjoyment of challenging myself led to my taking, and passing, the CPA exam in 1999.
